To prepare a USB drive for BIOS update either to upgrade or downgrade the bios, the USB drive whose content will contain the BIOS files should be formatted to FAT32. Navigate to the manufacturer’s website to download the right BIOS file and save it on the USB drive. You should safely remove the drive and have it plugged in the computer when running the update of BIOS during boot time.
